Juhi Parmar wants to stay away from Siddharth and Amar

Juhi Parmar, winner of Bigg Boss 5, is all set to return to work. “After three months of being locked up in a house. I needed a break from everything hence went out for a vacation of around 10 days,” says the actress. Juhi was in Dubai with her Bigg Boss co-contestants Pooja Bedi and Sky. “Yes, it is often said that people just become friends inside the house as part of the game and to win votes. But our friendship was real and was meant to be carried outside as well.” While there are strong rumors that something is cooking between Pooja and Sky, Juhi goes on to say, “We are a bunch of best friends”. Juhi dismisses the allegation that this Endemol show was rigged: “If these rumours that some people entered the house four days before the finale to brief me were true, would the other contestants have kept quite? Plus, how do you explain the tension and expectation on my face. The adrenaline rush which I was going through was unexplainable.” Juhi did not want to comment on Pooja Bedi’s exclusion from the Finale: “Let bygones be bygones. A lot has already been said over the past one month.” Talking about her equation with lesbian porn star Sunny Leone, Juhi says she is a sweet person: “People just look at her from her profession. But I see her beyond that and love and respect her as a friend.” However, she does not really want to keep in touch with Siddharth Bhardwaj and Amar Upadhyay with whom she had a number of run-ins inside the house, “We did not have any connect and neither were we friends so I don’t want to meet them. But if I do bump into them, I will be cordial for there is no malice or ill will towards anybody.” Juhi, who was last seen in fiction in SAB TV’s Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai is quite happy with the current TV scenario: “Today, all seasoned actors are back and people are abandoning saas-bahu stuff and making mature love stories like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Parichay. I would like to do something similar as a main lead with a completely different side to it.” Besides fiction, Juhi who has done lots of reality shows (Nach Baliye 3, Pati Patni Aur Woh) as well would want to continue experimenting with the non-fiction space too. “The format has to be quite interesting and exciting. I would love to take part in one more celebrity singing show like Say Shava Shava. In that show, I could not really show my singing prowess, as I was very new to the art. But since then I have done a lot of riyaaz as the above Imagine show made me aware of how I loved crooning,” says the actress. Returning back to Bigg Boss 5, Juhi says the biggest lesson she picked from the reality show was never to take people at face value. “Some people claimed to be my best friend but when I came out I realized that they hated me.” However she refused to name them; “I don’t want to open one more chapter,” ends Juhi.
