MUMBAI: Surekha Sikri is one of the most loved film and TV actresses. The veteran actress recently won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role of a grandmother in Badhaai Ho.
This is Surekha’s third national award. Sikri had bagged her first National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress, for her role in the 1998 film Tamas, the second for 1995 film Mammo and the third for 2018 film Badhaai Ho. The actress, who is 74, has been out of action from some time now. She has been recuperating following a reported paralysis attack, last year. However, her winning moment has got her back in the news and now her latest pictures on internet are making us happy on a Monday morning. Surekha is till date loved by the audience for her character of Kalyani Devi in the popular TV show, Balika Vadhu. And her co-star Shashank Vyas who played the character of Jagdish in the show recently caught up with the actress at her residence in Versova. Shashank shared the reunion pictures on his Instagram handle.
