MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.
We already reported about noted producer Somji Shastri, who is known for shows like Rashi Villa and Adhikar...Ek Kasam Ek Tapasya on DD, working on his new show titled Waris, which is said to be a family drama. It will launch on an upcoming national channel.
We also reported about popular actors Usha Bachani (Kundali Bhagya), Sanjay Swaraj (Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2), and Mallika Ghai (Aarambh) and veteran actors Raza Murad and Surendra Pal being roped in for the show (Read here: Raza Murad, Usha Bachani, Surendra Pal, Sanjay Swaraj, and Mallika Ghai join Somji Shastri's Waris).
Now, the latest update is that newbie Akanksha Sharda, who was last seen in & TV’s Laal Ishq, will play a pivotal role in the show alongside fresh face Aamir Sikendar.
