Actor and model Diana Penty is the new face of Estée Lauder. She will feature in the beauty giant's latest international campaign alongside its global spokesmodels Grace Elizabeth, Joan Smalls, Anok Yai, Fei Fei Sun and Carolyn Murphy. At the launch of brand's Double Wear Fall 2019 Campaign, IANSlife got chatting with the stunning star.
You're very understated in your approach to fame. Unlike other celebrities you don't hanker for press and attention. Where does this confidence come from?
Diana: I think it's a personality thing. And I have to admit, it doesn't work to my advantage given the profession I'm in. I have always been fiercely private and reserved, and as ironic as it might sound, I tend to stay away from the limelight wherever possible, and then regret it in hindsight!
You're naturally blessed with a beautiful figure, what kind of fitness regime do you prefer and why?
Diana: Full credit to my mum and dad for some great genes. My workout regime is pretty simple. It's usually a combination of Pilates and light weight and strength training. I usually go easy on the cardio as I tend to lose weight very easily.
What's your day and night skincare routine?
Diana: I follow a simple skincare routine. My day regime starts with Estée Lauder's Perfectly Clean Facewash followed by Advanced Night Repair Serum & Eye Supercharged. For moisturiser I use Day Wear Crème and top it up with Pure Color Envy Lip Balm. At night, I follow two simple steps -- Advanced Night Repair Serum & Eye Supercharged. This routine keeps my skin naturally glowing and radiant.
You signed with Estée Lauder India in last December. How has the journey been so far?
Diana: It has been a privilege being part of the Estée Lauder family and having the opportunity to work with such a diverse and talented group of people. To be announced as a global spokesmodel within a year of being the brand ambassador for Estee Lauder India, has been a dream come true. I hope that through this journey and the Double Wear Foundation's #WearConfidence Campaign, I can inspire other women to be their most confident self and realise their dreams
In Estée Lauder's global campaign, you will be seen alongside big names. What do you feel these women have in common with you?
Diana: It was lovely meeting and shooting with these wonderful women from across the world. It was amazing how we got along instantly, shared stories and exchanged ideas with each other. I came to realise that what all these women have in common is the ability to wear confidence both, inside and out.
