MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s newest offering Mere Dad Ki Dulhan is the perfect slice of life show with a refreshing concept. A light-hearted drama starring stellar actors like Varun Badola, Shweta Tiwari and Anjali Tatrari, the story adds a refreshing touch to the narrative of the father daughter duo. Essaying the role of a 24-year old ambitious girl, Niya Sharma, Anjali Tatrari is quite the opposite from her character in the show.
Being a fashion blogger herself, Anjali has always been in the forefront for styling and giving fashion inputs. While trying out different looks for her character, Anjali put forward her keen fashion sense and gave multiple inputs for her look. With complete trust on Anjali’s fashion sense, the creative director of the show gave her the brief of her character and that’s how Anjali ended up styling her own look for Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. With a perfect match of formal clothes and casual clothes, Anjali added her touch to Niya’s jewelry as well.
Talking about her look in the show, Anjali mentions, “Niya is a very mature, ambitious and career-oriented girl, who takes care of her father and is dedicated to his well-being too. I gave my inputs Niya’s look in the show and ended up styling the character myself. I am quite different from Niya in real life and hence choosing clothes and accessories for her became quite the challenge for me too. But from what it looks like in the promos, Niya’s look is quite the catch!”
