MUMBAI: Every individual has a dream, and often, the journey to achieving it involves navigating various paths before finally reaching the destination. Actor Manraj Singh Sarma, who recently joined Sun Neo’s Saajha Sindoor, has had a similar experience. From working as a corporate professional in a luxury brand to fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming an actor, his journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride.

The actor, who currently plays the role of Rudra in Saajha Sindoor, studied hotel management but later transitioned into the luxury sales industry. Despite a promising career, his deep-seated passion for acting couldn’t be ignored. One day, at the suggestion of his friends, Manraj attended an acting workshop where he met Kenny Sebastian, Sumukhi Suresh, and Kanan Gill. Since then, there has been no looking back for him.

Opening up about his journey, Manraj Singh Sarma said, "I would take half-day leaves or use my single weekly day off to focus on my craft. Theater performances became my testing ground, where colleagues’ feedback fueled my confidence. Driven to enhance my skills, I applied to Drama School Mumbai, a prestigious program admitting only 18 students in each batch. The decision to leave my job was daunting, but I saw it as a necessary leap of faith. Getting selected validated my passion and gave me the push I needed to pursue acting full-time."

The Saajha Sindoor actor added, "After a year of intensive training, I stepped into the world of auditions, armed with newfound skills and determination. Portraying Rudra in Saajha Sindoor resonates with viewers, a testament to my dedication and belief in the craft."

Saajha Sindoor, airing on Sun Neo, is a heartfelt family drama that delves into the marital journey of Phooli (Stuti Vinkle) and Gagan (Sahil Uppal). The show features a stellar ensemble cast, including Sangita Ghosh, Nassir Khan, and Manraj Singh Sarma. Catch Saajha Sindoor every day at 8 PM on Sun Neo.
