MUMBAI: Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Udaan fame Tanya Sharma and Piyush Sharma, who is currently seen as a contestant in MTV’s Splitsvilla season 12, have bagged a short film.
Our sources inform that it is a dark love story titled Sirat. It will feature Tanya and Piyush in the lead roles. The actors have already wrapped up the shoot.
The project is directed by Sachin Gupta, who has earlier directed films like Paranthe Wali Gali, Thoda Lutf Thoda Ishq, Pakhi amongst others. The casting has been done by Casting Director Nikhil Vijay Kumar Malhotra.
Nikhil has done casting for films like Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Thoda Lutf Thoda Ishq, web-series Dum Dum Dumroo, short-film Pihu and many more.
The makers are contemplating to premier the short film on MX Player or on Hungama.
