MUMBAI: Shweta Tiwari is one of the most popular television actresses. She has carved a niche for herself in the television industry. She is best known for her performance in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actress is returning to television after a gap of three years with Mere Dad Ki Dulhan.
During an interaction with media, the actress spoke about daughter Palak Tiwari's Bollywood debut plans. Palak was earlier supposed to make her debut alongside Darsheel Safari in a movie but that delayed beyond point and Palak later withdrew her name from it to focus on her studies. Mom Shweta said, 'Palak knows what she wants to do, hence everything is decided by her only."
She added, "Palak is someone who decides for herself. Recently, she got a luxurious brand shoot offer and she said no because she wants to do some valuable work and not bunk her school and papers for something which isn't worth her time. She is the one who chooses her own auditions, says yes or no. I only handle the negotiation part (laughs)."
When asked if like Aryan Khan who doesn't want to do acting with the apprehension of being compared to Shah Rukh Khan, does Palak share the same apprehensions, Shweta replied in negative and added, "No, it is nothing like that for her. I am desh ki bahu, she doesn't want to be a bahu. She didn't want to do anything which is very close to my work. She is much better at acting than me."
