Vinny Arora is happy playing Neelu in Shubh Vivah

Vinny Arora
Vinny Arora is currently seen on screen in Sony Entertainment Television show, Shubh Vivah. And she is happy to be back on the channel, she had done another show for Sony, Aathvaan Vachan some time back. “I am quite happy and content, besides the large number of joint scenes with other family members (Rakesh Bedi, Neha Janpandit and Neha Narang); my character Neelu is also getting decent solo scenes with Vinay Rohrra (her love interest in the series). The best part of our show is that all four sisters have their individual tracks with all the required twists and turns.” The show surely was marketed well; however, Vinny says it hasn’t fared well in the TRP race. “This UTV co production has opened to 0.7 TVR (first week rating) which is a bit lower than what we expected, given the very rich track and story line. Maybe the early evening time slot( 7.30 pm) can be one of the reasons for this slow start, but I am quite sure that things will get better in the coming weeks as all the characters open up.” As earlier reported, this show is a remake of Tamil series Metti Oli. So can we expect changes to script given the number game? “I don’t think we can change much, given that we have a contract to abide by. Apart from that, we also have a person from the south show on our creative team, who ensures that we don’t deviate too much from the original theme of the show.” The series has Rakesh Bedi play father to five daughters, played by Neha Narang, Shafaq Naaz, Vinny Arora, Krutika Gaikwad and Neha Janpandit.
