Rucha Hasabnis is definitely earning praises for playing Rashi in Rashmi Sharma Telefilms’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya. However, the beautiful actress was initially skeptical to essay this character: “I was initially skeptical as I had done two positive roles in the past. And this was to be my first negative role,” she tells Tellychakkar.com. But Rucha definitely took the right decision as she is playing the character really well. In fact, she won the award for the Naya Sadassya in Star Parivaar Awards, this year. “It was a great experience and I felt really good about it. My Director has always motivated me saying that I am doing a good job and also that I should continue the good work.” For information, she holds a Masters’ degree in Commerce. And this bubbly actress ventured into the entertainment business when she modeled for print advertisement, while doing Company Secretary. “After that, I auditioned for Saathiya and I bagged the role,” says Rucha. She further tells us that essaying the character of Rashi is not an easy task. “The only thing that bothers me is that it becomes taxing to play this character as its takes a toll on my health.” Further more, she feels that it is one of the most challenging characters to essay. “Rashi is mad, crazy, and cranky; she is way too demanding and tends to become negative,” reveals the beautiful actress and adds that she is unlike her character. “The only common thing between Rashi and me is that she loves getting pampered and I too love getting pampered like every girl,” ends Rucha.
