Balaji to launch a new show, Gossip Girls, on MTV

Balaji Telefilms is one of the leading production houses of this country which has churned out some of the most fascinating shows in the history of Indian television. It opened new doors in terms of TV programming. Some of the shows which went on to create history are Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kahiin To Hoga and currently, it is ruling the roost with Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Now, Ekta’s (Kapoor, owner of the production house) team is all set to launch another interesting show, Gossip Girls, on MTV. Gossip Girls will have a plot that will revolve around the life of four teenage girls studying in standard 12. The show will capture the problems, happiness and the relationship between these girls. The shooting for the same is expected to start from end of this month (April) or early next month (May 2012). We sent a text message to Ekta Kapoor but she refrained from replying.
