Sujata K tries her hand at comedy

Sujata K, the real sister of Suchitra Krishnamoorthy has recently entered Star Plus's Shanno Ki Shaadi. Elaborating on her role in the serial, Sujata says, "I am playing Vikas Bhalla's mom who returns from U.S. So, I play a very affectionate mother and a good saas," says Sujata. Vikas Bhalla plays an NRI returned to India in the show. Currently Sujata is also been seen as Meera Ahluwalia in Left Right Left. Here, again she plays mom to Priyanka Bassi. And shortly, she will also be seen playing Rani Kanoora in Star's new sci-fci show called Antariksh. "In all, I am quite excited about being a part of Shanno. It's also quite a change from the other roles that I've done in the past. I am known to be playing serious crying roles or playing a vamp so for a change it's great. Initially, I was skeptical about doing comedy but now that I am a part of the show I realised that I've a flair for comedy. . It's also great to work with senior actors like Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Shoma Anand. Also, Vikas Bhalla is also very cute," chirps Sujata On being queried on her film career, she says, "Very soon, I will be seen in the Tushaar Kapoor and Ayesha Takia's starrer Kya Love story Hai. " While her profession life is rocking at the moment, on the personal front the actor is going through her divorce proceedings. But somehow she continues to have a rather bindaas attitude in life and wants to make the most of it! So, rock on Sujata !
