Ghar Ek Sapna for Sahara One!

Looks like it's raining shows on Sahara One. After launching three major prime time soaps, the channel is now gearing up to woo audiences with a love story Ghar Ek Sapna. Produced and directed by Ajay Sinha, the show promises an interesting star cast, considering it's his next venture post the superhit Astitva Ek Prem Kahani on ZeeTV. Shayantani Ghosh plays the lead protagonist in the show and some of the other actors in the show are Alok Nath, Himani Shivpuri, Resham Seth, Harsh Chayya, Vineet Kumar, Upasana Shukla and Ujjwal Rana. The story revolves around two families (from Bihar and Mumbai) and how clashes crop up between them. Resham Seth plays a Bihari girl in the show and affirms that "We are two sisters in the show, I play Trisha and Shayanatni plays Kakul. I am the teekhi, clever, well educated, outspoken, bold and proud, newly married sister while my younger sister is the soft spoken, sweet girl who is very protective about me." Vineet Kumar plays the influential father to Resham and Shayantani. Alok Nath plays the dominating father to Harsh Chayya, Ujjwal Rana and Piyush. "I play this strict, forth right man who has made his riches and is proud of it. I took up this role as it promises to be different along with a good atmosphere on the sets. And of course, the money is also good. We are shown as the biggest family in town whose younger son goes to Bihar to get married and falls in love with a girl out there. The story is then about how the girl comes into the modern family and the trouble begins," points out the veteran actor who is currently also doing Sanskar on Doordarshan. The actors have begun shooting in Rajpipla(Gujrat) for the on going sequence, post which they start shooting in Mumbai from November 9. Also the primetime daily show goes on air on 4 December.
