Is Mannish jinxed?

The stars don't seem to be in Mannish Goel's favour. Besides earning rave reviews for his rustic look in Star One's Paraya Dhan-Betiyaan the actor was certainly very excited about his entry in Sony's Kaajjal, but to everyone's surprise he has now been replaced by Chetan Hansraj. Mannish is very cool about this development and has no qualms about it. "We were negotiating, but things didn't work out. It was not only money, but several other issues," clarifies Mannish.

So was it disappointing in anyway? "No, no, not at all! We deal with so many projects on a day-to-day basis, but things don't essentially workout. It's all part and parcel of the game." Apparently Chetan Hansraj who will now be playing the character of Dhruv (in Kaajjal) is Goel's close friend. "Is he playing Dhruv now? Oh, I didn't know that as I have just arrived from Turkey today. Chetan is close friend and I quite like that guy," says Mannish. The actor is now rehearsing for the semi finals of Nach Baliye 2. Says Mannish, "Apart from NB2, I was in Turkey for a promotional shoot for Star. It was only me, myself and Mannish! And I had a blast holidaying there. Turkey is a beautiful place, the weather was astounding!" So now one more show, i.e. Kaajal has added to the list of numerous shows thay Mannish has rejected till date. At this rate, he can easily bag the title - 'The Rejection King of the Year' title!
