MUMBAI : Manav Gohil is a well known actor in the entertainment industry for more than two decades.
He has been part of many television shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Shaddi Mubarak, Tenali Rama etc.
He also ventured into the film industry with Hindi and regional movies.
The actor was also part of the reality show Nach Baliye 2 where he participated with his better half Shweta Kawatra where he emerged as the first runner up of the show.
During Indian Telly Streaming Awards the actor won the best actor for his spectacular performance in the Gujarati movie Chandalo.
In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar the actor revealed his wish to work in the reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' and expressed his views on how reality shows are turning into scripted shows.
According to you, what is the difference you see between Television and movies?
The way you work on television is very different from movies, even when you do a movie be it Hindi or regional the process is different. We had the best DOP, the best script, the writing and it's just the way you make things.
What is your take on reality shows back now and then?
The production value has changed and I would love to be part of a reality show like Khatro Ke Khiladi and I wouldn't say I would like to take part in every reality show.
Why only Khatron Ke Khiladi?
I would like to say that the show is very real as what you do and what is shot is only shown and nothing is scripted and its adventures and I love to do such shows.
But even now Khatron Ke Khiladi is becoming like Bigg Boss where the fights and content is been more focussed on?
If this is happening then it's very unfortunate as then everything is becoming very scripted and social media is also growing and one should know the judgement of what's wrong and right.
Well, there is no doubt that Manav is a huge star in the entertainment business and he has a good fan following even after two decades.
