Hats Off's new show on Sony...Prateeksha Lonkar roped in

Hats Off Productions is on a roll. We have already written about the production house’s two new shows, namely, Star Plus’ Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum, and Life OK’s tentatively titled Alakshmi. And J D Majethia (producer of Hats off) is super kicked about his third upcoming show on the tube. This time… J D will spill magic on Sony Entertainment Television. Wow…three shows on three different channels. It is certainly impressive. And guess what? The makers who are known for comedies and saas- bahu sagas is widening its creative base and doling out a love story. This new venture on Sony Entertainment Television is titled Byah Hamari Bahu Ka. It will have a Gujarati backdrop and under the veneer of a love story, will have an undercurrent of social awareness. The casting for the show is in full swing and we have learned that Marathi actress, Prateeksha Lonkar, has been signed to play an important role. We tried to get in touch with JD, but he remained unavailable. We also had a word with Prateeksha and she said, “I would not like to comment anything till I get a confirmation from the production house. Let things get finalized first, then I will share relevant details.” The cast would shoot the promo episodes for Byah Hamari Bahu Ka by 2 or 3 May 2012.
