Prajakta to start on Mee Marathi

UTV’s second Marathi show Prajakta goes on air on Mee Marathi next Monday, everyday at 7.30 pm. The production house’s first Anamika is doing well for them on the same channel. “Prajakta is the story of a simple, humble girl and her life moves smoothly until an unfortunate incident shatters her. Due to unforeseen circumstances, her father dies and her world falls apart. She then has to shift her base to her father’s best friend’s house as there is no one in her family,” says a UTV spokesperson, adding, “She is a trained nurse and starts working in a clinic which belongs to her father’s best friend’s son. Soon things started settling down in her life as she starts falling in love with him only to realize that he is in love with another girl.” Rahul Pete and Tajasvi Patil will debut in the show. Directed by Sanjay Savitri and written by Jayesh Patil, the music has been composed by well known music director Ashok Patki and lyrics are by renowned writer Guru Thakur. The show also includes names like Suchitra Bandekar, Madhavi Gogte, Satish Pulekar, Ajinkya Joshi and many others.
