Sahara One’s Haunted Nights is a significant attempt to deal with the horror genre on the small screen. The show has seen renowned faces, Rashmi Desai, Gautami Kapoor, Amit Sarin, amongst others, making an attempt to send a chill down the spine of viewers. Now, the series produced by Entertainment Hub and ASA Productions, will churn out an eerie story which will deal with a girl’s re-birth. Damini Joshi has been signed to play the role of the female lead in the series. Damini has featured in CID and DD’s Yeh Zindagi Hai Gulshan. As per the storyline, Damini’s husband will get possessed by some evil spirit. She will also be seen enacting a double role. When contacted Damini she confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am doing Haunted Nights. It’s a very sensible story, nicely written and I am very happy to be a part of it.” The particular episode will air next week (7 May 2012).
