His character’s name will be Chuttapan and he will be a notorious dacoit. His role will be loosely based on the life of Veerappan.

It’s time for Ram Awana to tickle the funny bone. Ram, who was last seen in Imagine’s Dwarkadheesh, will be seen in Fireworks Productions’ silent comedy Gutur Gu on SAB TV.
His character’s name will be Chuttapan and he will be a notorious dacoit. His role will be loosely based on the life of Veerappan.
“I am shooting for the sequence and it is fun. This is the first time I am doing comedy,” confirmed Ram to Tellychakkar.com.
As per the plot, the entire family will be going on trekking. They will be climbing a mountain and slip in the process as the surrounding will be quite stiff and barren. Finally, they will manage to reach a hill top and there they will learn about Chuttapan and his scary histrionics. Viewers will see some gags revolving around the family members and Chuttapan.
This particular sequence will go on air on 19 May 2012.
