Kuch Toh Log Kahenge to air fresh content at 11pm slot?

Kuch Toh Log Kahenge produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut was launched with much pomp and glory. It hit the headlines when its male lead, Mohnish Behl, opted out of the show and Sharad Kelkar walked in to portray the role of Dr Ashutosh. Currently, the plot is revolving around the wedding sequence of Dr Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) and Dr Ashutosh. But the soap has always been ill-fated in terms of numbers. Furthermore, the rumour keeps popping up that it will go off air. Now, for your information, Kuch Toh… airs fresh content at 8pm and has a repeat telecast at 11pm. The development is that Hats off Productions’ upcoming show Byah Hamari Bahu Ka will take the 8pm slot from 28 May 2012 tentatively. However, Byah’s confirmed airing date will be announced by next week, informed a source. The show stars Gaurav Khanna, Shrenu Parekh, Benaf Dadachandji, amongst others. So, it is believed that Kuch Toh…will be taken out from the 8pm slot and the fresh content will be aired at 11pm. Incidentally, the show’s repeat telecast garners better numbers. “I have also heard about it but have not been told anything officially by the channel. However, I would be glad if the show airs fresh content at 11pm, as that is the time when we get better TRPs and more viewers,” shared producer Rajan Shahi. So, will the fate of Kuch Toh…get better with the timing shift? Let’s wait and watch…
