Ratna to commit suicide in Pratha

Ratna’s (Ridhima Tiwari) heart skipped for a moment when her husband Ranvijay (Faisal Raza Khan) forced her to spend a night with a police officer who is handling Amreek’s murder case in Rishton Se Badi Pratha. However Ratna had no choice but to follow Ranvijay’s instructions and in the forthcoming episodes she will try to end her life. A source says, “Ratna had been cruelly raped by a police officer, she is completely shaken by the fact that her husband has done such an inhuman act only to be absolved from a murder case. She returns to her house but can’t forget that dreadful night. She will keep getting flashes of that incident and feels horrible. Ratna is unable to tolerate this pain anymore, so she thinks of killing herself. She writes a note stating that no one is responsible for her death and she wants to leave this world because there is no meaning in her life. It will be a huge blow for the Markandey family once they know that she has committed suicide. We have already shot for Ratna’s death sequence; it is going to be a major high point in the show this weekend. The next few episodes will see Ratna’s last rituals and how her maternal family reacts to it.” Ridhima says, “Yes my track is going to end in Pratha. Ratna never had her own voice and after she was raped by a cop, she just wanted to go away from her family. She realizes she can neither bear the trauma nor share it, so she will try to kill herself. However I will not be able to reveal how it will happen.”
