The television industry plays the best role at match making. Very many fellow actors have found love and opted for a life of togetherness. Shweta Shinde is one more actress who has found her life partner in co-star Sandeep Bhansali. Sandeep is currently doing Ravaan and Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki. Having met on the sets the two hit it off and soon decided to spend a lifetime of togetherness. Shinde plans to continue working post marriage. ”I will just take 10 days off for our marriage and then return to work.”
Talking about her comic track in Parivaar, Shinde says, “ Meghna is ‘selling’ her husband Avinash, essayed by Ashish Kapoor to a rich woman Mandira, played by Sonali Verma.”
Isn’t this Judaai inspired story too bizarre?
“Well that’s the beauty of Indian television viewers want to see stuff that never happens in the real world,” she reasoned.
Shinde who had earlier done Gharana and , Kumkum loves to do Marathi TV serials as well.
How different are both?
“Marathi shows are more creative and they also deal with contemporary themes. While Hindi serials tend to get more melodramatic and over the top. You will never see a bahu in a Marathi serial sitting at home in Rs 5000 saris,” she explains.
