Second Hand Review: A short film with a sweet message on relationships

ZEE5 short film Second Hand has a special message about the relationships we share with our loved ones. It is a must-watch.

MUMBAI: ZEE5 has some amazing content lined up for the audiences during the present lockdown period. The OTT platform has launched a short film festival. About 9 short films were released on 15th April 2020, one of which was Second Hand, starring Stree fame Abhishek Banerjee, Lakshya Kochhar, and Parul Gulati.

The film starts with two best friends, Abhishek Banerjee and Lakshya Kochhar, who share the same name Sunil. Sunil (Lakshya gets married to a beautiful bride named Beauty (Parul Gulati). The other Sunil (Abhishek) is very happy about his friend’s marriage, but we come to know that this is not his first marriage. His first wife left him long ago, so his friend teases him with the name 'second hand'.

As the story moves ahead, we see that the wife is getting more and more friendly towards Sunil (Abhishek), and by seeing this, the husband seems to be very jealous and insecure. How things move ahead forms the story of this film.

The story will keep you glued to your seat, and what happens in the climax is something you would never have thought of.

This beautiful story speaks about love and trust in every relationship and also says that Insecurities have no role in any relationship.

Director Navjot Gulati has beautifully conveyed this message with this short film, which will make you think of your loved ones.

Talking about the performances, Abhishek Banerjee and Lakshya Kochhar have done an amazing job with their roles, and Parul Gulati is fairly decent as well.

This film indeed is a good watch during the lockdown.

Team TellyChakkar goes with 3 stars for Second Hand.
