MUMBAI: Coronavirus outbreak has created a tough situation for everyone. Government is leaving no stone unturned to deal with the crisis. During this lockdown period, many Bollywood celebrities and sports personalities have extended their help and the latest to join the list is Jwala Gutta.
Jwala Gutta, who is an Indian professional badminton player, has extended her help to daily wage migrants near her residence. The basic essentials that were distributed include rice, pulses, oil, sugar, masks.
Today, the badminton player took to her Instagram handle and shared a few pictures wherein she can be seen wearing mask and gloves and doing the needful.
Sharing the pictures, Jwala Gutta wrote, “During these unprecedented times We chose to contribute some basic essentials Like rice,pulses,oil,sugar,masks n more to daily wage migrants near our residence!! #lockdown #migrantworkers ##coronavirus #unitedindia ##wewillgetthroughthis #wewillgetthroughthistogether”
Bollywood actor Pulkit Samrat, who is known for films like Veerey Ki Wedding, Fukrey and Sanam Re, supported Jwala Gutta for her gesture.
Fans also appreciated her. They made comments like ‘Great work mam’, ‘God bless u’, ‘Superb mam.. Allah bless you’.
