MUMBAI: Versatile actress Rekha has given many years to the industry and has kept us entertained with her amazing performances.

We have always seen the glamorous diva attend award functions and Bollywood parties by herelf. Well, the actress, who lives alone, has a really big family. For the record, she has 6 sisters. They are all pretty popular in their respective fields.

Rekha has millions of fans due to her beauty, acting skills, and her contribution to Bollywood cinema. Despite the fact that she hasn't appear in any Bollywood movies for a long time, still, she manages to be in newspaper headlines. The actress is also spotted at various award shows and other Bollywood events.

Rekha is the daughter of Jemini Ganeshan, who was a big name in the Tamil Film Industry back then. Jemini Ganeshan married thrice. From the first wife, he had 4 daughters, and from the second wife, he had 2 daughters named Rekha and Radha. From the third wife Savitri, Gemini Ganeshan had 2 kids, a daughter named Vijya Chamundeshwary, and son named Satish.

Rekha started to work in the movies at a very small age, as she had the pressure to run her home. All her sisters helped her in order to manage the home as well as home expenses.

Rekha does not have a good relationship with her father, but she is very friendly with her brother and sisters.

4.Narayani Ganesan is a journalist in the well-known leading newspaper. That leading newspaper is The Times of India in Delhi.

5.Vijaya Chamundeswari is an Indian fitness expert. She is the daughter of Savitri and a step-sister of Bollywood Diva Rekha.

6.Radha, sibling of Rekha has done a fair share of work in the South film industry before getting married. She stopped appearing in movies after the wedding and got settled with her husband.

To see Gemini Ganesan’s 7 daughters together is a rare sight if you are a fan of Rekha.

In December 2004, when Gemini Ganesan was very ill, all the sisters made it a point to come to Chennai and nurse their father together.

They met again in February 2005, at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Rekha was to inaugurate the Apollo Wellness Clinic, and all the sisters of Rekha came together for the event except her sibling Radha.
