This movie is adapted from the famous Shakespeare's play, Hamlet. The film sees a son played by Shahid Kapoor returning to Kashmir where he finds out that his dad has disappeared and then begins the game of vengeance. Co-starring Shraddha Kapoor and Tabu among others, Haider is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Padmaavat on Amazon Prime – IMDb: 7.0

Headlined by Deepika Padukone and co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, Padmaavat is a periodical film about Rani Padmavati. She, being a queen and a wife, stays loyal to her husband, but when her King loses his throne to cruel Afghan king Alauddin Khilji, she performs Jauhar to not let Khilji win her.

MOM on Netflix – IMDb: 7.3

Mom (2017) - Rotten Tomatoes

The story revolves around a mother and her daughter. The Sridevi starrer sees the daughter getting raped and her culprits roaming around freely. Sridevi then pledges to get everyone punished and get justice to her daughter. The film is helmed Ravi Udyawar. 

PadMan on Netflix – IMDb: 7.9

The film revolves around how village women are prone to unhygienic methods of managing their periods, which cause many life-threatening diseases. Akshay fights for this cause and introduces them to affordable sanitary napkins. He also makes a machine to produce sanitary napkins for villagers.

The audience has given high ratings to all these blockbusters.
