MUMBAI: It is said that “there is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” One can lift people up in various ways. One of such ways is certainly to stand by people in times of crisis. Former cricketer Virender Sehwag is doing something similar during this ongoing crisis caused by coronavirus.
Like many other celebrities, he has come out in support of the needy. Earlier, we had reported how Virender had taken to social media and urged people who reside in Delhi to help people who are in need. He had also mentioned how this is an opportunity to provide service from home.
Now, his latest post shows how the sports personality and his family members were packing food for the migrant laborers. He has shared a series of pictures some of which also see how the food packets satiated the huger of the needy people. The glimpses will make you emotional.

Alongside the series of pictures, Virender penned down a heartwarming caption. “The satisfaction of cooking and packing food from the comfort of your own homes and getting it distributed to the most needy migrant labourers in these times is a satisfaction few things can match. If you would like to contribute by making good for 100 people from your own hone please DM on Twitter to @sehwagfoundatn” he wrote.
