MUMBAI: This year is brining a lot of sad news. The sudden news of the musician-composer duo Sajid-Wajid duo’s Wajid Khan death shook the industry. The musician and composer was reported to be combating with some kidney related issues, followed by which he was put on ventilator for the past couple of days. His last collaboration was with none other Salman Khan with whom he began his career in 1998. The late composer also looked up to Salman Khan as his godfather and never forgot to mention about him on almost every occasion of his life. Wajid who worked on Salman in many of projects, mentioning these collaboration with the superstar being a learning experience for him.

The musician and composer along with his brother Sajid Khan had composed for the recently released single of Salman Khan amidst of the lockdown. Sajid along with his brother Wajid composed the single Pyaar Karona sung by Salman, which was a treat for the Khan fans amidst of the COVID2019 lockdown. This number was released on April 20, 2020 on Salman Khan’s YouTube channel. Its soul soothing tune is just pleasing to the ears to keep you calm amidst of the COVID2019 pandemic. Dropping the teaser of this second last work of his career, he had tweeted, “Please check our new song on #IndiaFightsCorona ! Song out Tom only at Bhai’s YouTube channel”

Later he composed yet another number for Salman Khan which released on the occasion of Eid. The musician and composer had composed for an Eid special number for Salman Khan’s fans titled Bhai Bhai. Reposting Salman’s post on his Instagram account he announced the release of this single.  “Maine aap subb ke liye kuch banaya hai, dekh ke batana kaisa laga... Aap subb ko eid mubarakh ... #BhaiBhai”

So far there is no confirmation on the reason of his death from his family. He passed away at the age of 42.
