MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government on Sunday announced that film and television shooting could resume in non-containment zones in the month of June. However, they have a 16-page long set of guidelines for producers to follow as and when they begin film and television production.
Hence, channel and production houses have started working on their show’s story plot in order to bring the show back with a bang.
It has been reported that as per the new rules set up by the government, no child artist will be allowed on the sets and hence Colors plans to introduce a leap in their show Barrister Babu. This means that the 8-year-old Aura Bhatnagar, who plays the role of Bondita, will not be permitted to shoot. There is also news pertaining to Saath Nibhana Sathiya and Bigg Boss 13 fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee being in talks to play grown-up Bondita in Barrister Babu.

However, TellyChakkar has learnt that apparently the show will not take a leap and makers are yet to take a final call. They are still looking out for alternatives.
An actor on anonymity grounds told us, “It’s all a rumour. None of the actors are informed about the leap and we highly doubt that anything such is happening.”
Well, let’s wait and watch what holds in store for the show.
Barrister Babu revolves around child bride Bondita Das who married Anirudh Roy Choudhary in her childhood and how Anirudh fights society for her education and helps make her a barrister.
