MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor is one of the ace producers of the entertainment industry. Her company Balaji telefilms is one of the biggest production houses, and she is the only producer who produces content on web, movies and television and is successful on all three mediums. 

The ace producer is quite active on social media and she keeps sharing posts. She keeps her fans and well-wishers’ updates about her whereabouts and upcoming projects. 

Ekta has had blockbuster hits in Bollywood too, but her journey in movies was not that easy. In the initial days when she had just begun her journey as a producer in movies, all the projects used to tank at the Box Office but she didn’t give up and made her way into the movies.

Her first success as a producer was Shootout at Lokhandwala, a film that was based on true events. The movie was directed by Sanjay Gupta and stared Vivek Oberoi, Tushaar Kapoor, Rohit Roy and Shabbir Ahluwalia in lead roles. 

The movie was a huge success at the Box Office and Ekta had left her mark in movies too.  Recently the movie completed 13 years of its release and the producer of the movie Ekta revealed why she had produced it. 

Ekta mentioned that Sanjay had asked her why she wanted to produce the movie to which she had told him that she had made many projects for women and now it was time to make one for men and she knew the movie would be a huge success at Box office. 

There is no doubt to why today Ekta is so successful in whatever she does, and she is somebody to look up to she is ruling television, Bollywood and the web world.
