MUMBAI: Post the lockdown, television is expeirencing a lot of changes. 

SAB TV’s Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga has undergone a major replacement. Ashi Singh stepped into the shoes of Avneet Kaur as Yasmine in the show. (Read here: Avneet Kaur bids adieu to Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga; writes a good-bye message )

The news came as a shock to many as Avneet had aced the role of Princes Yasmine. Also, Avneet’s on-screen and off-screen chemistry with Siddharth Nigam aka Aladdin was one of the USPs of the show. Well, now Ashi Singh has stepped into the role and her fans are eager to watch her in the show.

Avneet’s co-actress from the show Farhina Parvez expressed her thoughts on the replacement on social media. She wrote: I just wanted to say, the benchmark you set for Yasmine’s character, I don’t think so anyone can reach that”.
