MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara is all set to be released on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar on this Friday, i.e., July 24. A couple of weeks back, the makers of Dil Bechara dropped the trailer of the film and it received an overwhelming response from one and all. Later to keep the momentum going on, the makers then dropped the song making all of them remember the actor. Dil Bechara will mark Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film and Sanjana Sanghi’s debut film. After ending his life on June 14, makers of the film decided to make it available for all the subscribers and non-subscribers too of Hotstar as a tribute to the actor.
During a recent interview, Sanjana Sanghi revealed that when the trailer of the film dropped she thought SSR will text her praising her. Remembering Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjana told Mid-Day, “When the trailer dropped [on July 6], I thought he will text me, saying 'You have killed it, rockstar!' That's what he would say after a good day on the set. I am not even close to coming to terms with what happened. I know it will hit me in two to three months.
Sanjana earlier shared a BTS picture from Dil Bechara shoot and penned a heartfelt note alongside the picture, “Can’t believe we’re just one week away from our labour of love reaching you & hopefully entering your hearts. Sharing this really special memory of the both us, with you all. This was about one week into shooting Dil Bechara, in 2018. Just a moment of us being really satisfied with what we were creating. It all tastes bittersweet. Everything. No idea what to feel. Or how to feel. Numbness eludes. Wish you were here. #SushantSinghRajput #ThinkingOfYou”
