Sonakshi Sinha confirmed for Milan Talkies

Recently, when we interacted with Tigmanshu Dhulia, the director said that he has signed Imran Khan to play the lead role in Balaji Motion Pictures’ film Milan Talkies, which he is directing. However, he was still looking out for the female lead. When we went to visit Dhulia’s office for the interview, we spotted Tere Naam-fame actress Bhumika Chawla coming out of his cabin. We thought that she might have come in to audition for some role in Milan Talkies. But the latest we have learned is that beautiful and bubblicious Sonakshi Sinha has been signed to play the female lead in Milan Talkies. Though Sonakshi refused to comment, she has been confirmed for the role. In fact, she has already worked out her dates for the movie. When we texted Tigmanshu about the development, he reverted stating, “Yes, Sonakshi has been finalized.” The film will have Imran Khan playing the role of a UP boy, a small time employee of a cinema hall moonlighting as a film pirate by shooting illegal videos of the blockbusters being screened there in the film. The film will go on the floors early next year (2012). It will be released by UTV.
