Actress Shubhaavi Choksey manages to celebrate her husband's birthday amidst lockdown

MUMBAI : Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress Shubhaavi Choksey who won way too many hearts with her phenomenal acting skills managed to celebrate her husband's birthday after a lot of efforts. The actress who is shooting for long and extended hours even during the pandemic rushed to the market to get all the necessary things required to decorate their house for a small party.

The actress shares "Quarantine birthday turned out to be extremely special this year for Harshal, my family and me .. I was shooting but luckily packed up early so rushed to get stuff for decoration but in vain.  The shops were open as per the information online but when I reached there they were closed. Still I managed to get a few things and my father helped me too. When I started at 3 p.m. there was nothing but after slogging hard for four hours I nearly had everything in hand. I discovered things from my attic too so put everything together and we had a very simple yet beautiful surprise for Harshal’s birthday. Its like they say 'Jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai,  Sahi kehte hain'”

On the work front, Shubhaavi began her television career with Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Meera Singhania and the actress then starred in a string of successful shows like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Bade Acche Lagte Hai. Currently, she is seen in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Mohini Basu.
