MUMBAI: Renowned television actress Nyrraa M Banerji, who enjoys a massive fan following, has made her mark not only in the Hindi television industry but also in the South Indian film industry.
She has impressed audiences with her performances and was recently seen showcasing her daring side in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss.
Following her exit from Bigg Boss, Nyrraa has taken a step back from television projects but remains actively engaged with her theatrical play Akbar Birbal.

In an exclusive conversation, she opens up about her friendships post-Bigg Boss and an unforgettable trip to Goa with her fellow contestants.
Post-Bigg Boss, who are you still in touch with? Have you maintained any friendships from the show?
To be honest, inside the Bigg Boss house, I didn’t really have close friendships. I considered Shrutika, Shehzada, Shilpa, and Karanveer as my friends while in the house, but once I stepped out, things turned out quite differently.
I am someone who believes in living in the present and leaving all grudges behind. So, when my play Akbar Birbal was staged, I invited everyone from Bigg Boss. Interestingly, those whom I didn’t consider friends actually showed up, while the ones I thought were close to me didn’t even turn up.
Regardless, I reached out to everyone because I value good connections. Surprisingly, even though I had never spent much time with Alice, Eisha, and Sara, they made the effort to attend my play. I was especially thrilled to see Arfreen and Edin, as I hadn’t interacted with them much either, but their presence meant a lot to me.
Tell us about your recent holiday to Goa with your Bigg Boss mates. How was the experience?
The trip was absolutely amazing! The occasion was Sara and Arfreen’s anniversary, and since I already knew Arfreen but had never really communicated with Sara mainly because she was closer to Alice and Eisha I thought this was a great opportunity to get to know her better.
Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, some of the others couldn’t make it. However, I had a wonderful time with the ones who did. I shared a room with Alice, and she turned out to be such a sweet and down-to-earth person.
Sara and Arfreen are hilarious, and with Bagga around, fun is always guaranteed! The trip allowed us to bond and explore a newfound friendship, which I truly cherish.
