MUMBAI: The COVID-2019 pandemic has not yet ended and the entire world is suffering because of this. It has affected many across the globe. Although things aren't the same as they were earlier, people are now trying to return to normal life gradually. Speaking about the television industry, the shootings have resumed after a few months of lockdown. From safety measures to the way things used to be operated, everything has changed because of the pandemic.
Although shootings have started, there are many celebs who are out of work. Also, while some artists are waiting for their payments to get cleared, some have compromised with the situation and doing other works just to meet their needs.

Popular TV actress Meena Nathani too is facing a similar situation. The actress in an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar spoke about her current situation and how things are working out for her.
When asked if she is out of work in this situation, Meena said, "I'm being offered roles but they are not meeting my expectations. The roles are not that exciting plus the pay, too, is very less compared to what I should get according to my experience."
Meena further said that she is also finding it difficult to get roles due to her age as she is old to be a mother of a lead heroine in a TV serial and young to play a grandmother's role.
The actress revealed that she is in talks for a few projects and hoping for things to work out for her.
Meena also revealed that she has negotiated with the producers regarding the pay and if things work out, she would start working too.
Lastly, the actress gave a message to the concerned people who give work to celebs but aren't ready to pay a decent amount.
Meena said that everyone is facing a financial crunch and there are budget issues but actors shouldn't be exploited and should be paid a decent amount.
The actress has been a part of several shows like Bhagyavidhaata, Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo, among others. She has also done many films including Well Done Abba.
