Ahead of Supreme Court verdict, Ankita Lokhande expresses hope

MUMBAI : Ankita Lokhande, who had been in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput for nearly six years, has been vocal about the need for a CBI inquiry into the late actor’s demise. As all eyes were on the Supreme Court’s verdict today, Ankita Lokhande also expressed hope and posted on Twitter, “Waiting.......#JusticeForSushant”.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR in Patna, leveling several allegations against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. Post this, the actress had filed a plea in the Supreme Court, seeking to transfer the FIR to Mumbai. The Apex court is due to announce its verdict today, after having heard all the parties recently.

While the Mumbai police have already been investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, the Enforcement Directorate also stepped in to probe the money laundering angle. Sushant’s father had pointed out several financial irregularities in his son’s account, following which the ED had summoned Rhea, her brother Showik, Sushant’s ex-manager Shruti Modi and his flatmate Siddharth Pithani among others for questioning.
