Filmmaker Prakash Jha on Shushant's CBI Probe; 'SSR was Destined for Bigger Things, Hope Truth Comes out'

To Times Now, filmmaker Prakash Jha spoke about Sushant Singh Rajput's death and states that the late actor was meant for greater glories

MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise left everyone shocked and numb. The Kai Po Che actor passed away on June 14, reportedly, by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his home in Bandra. It was reported that the actor was suffering from depression, however, now, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty is under the scanner for abetment of suicide after Sushant's father filed an FIR against her. Now, filmmaker Prakash Jha has opened up and spoken about SSR's death.

To Times Now, the filmmaker stated that it was really painful to see how Sushant Singh Rajput left and it seemed like a child from his family has passed away even though he did not know him or work with him personally. Prakash Jha also mentioned that now that the case is in the hands of CBI, hopefully, the truth will come out and everyone will get closure. The Raajneeti filmmaker also stated that Sushant was destined for bigger things in life.

Prakash Jha also said that people of the industry need to do some introspection and wished to see a positive outcome.

Now, that the CBI has taken over Sushant Singh Rajput's case, a lot of revelations are coming to light. Last, the CBI visited Sushant Singh Rajput's home in Bandra along with Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj and staff Deepesh Sawant reportedly to recreate the scene of June 14 and conduct a dummy test when Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead.  As per the reports, the late actor's CA has also been interrogated by the team of CBI officials.
