MUMBAI: Popular Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has taken a new turn with CBI taking over the investigation. ED had also intervened to probe for a possible financial angle because of which Rhea Chakroborty’s electronic gadgets have been confiscated and the deleted data is being retrieved. A few of Rhea’s chats with several people have been retrieved. Her chats related to drugs also has raised many questions.
Amidst the investigation being carried on by the CBI, Rhea gave an interview to journalist Rajdeep Sardesai of India Today. The clips of the same have been doing the rounds and getting a lot of backlash. In one such clips, Rhea took a dig at Ankita Lokhande by calling her ‘sautan’. Speaking about Sushant’s bond with her brother Showik, Rhea said, “Showik aur Sushant k beech kaafi pyaar tha. Mai aksar mazak kiya karti thi ke Showik hi meri sautan hai, tab pata nahi tha ke itni saari aakar khadi hojaayegi. Pata nahi yeh sab pehle kaha they”. (Showik and Sushant were quite close and there was lot of love between the two. I often used to joke that Showik is my ‘sautan’ while I didn’t know so many others will arrive now.
