MUMBAI : Actress Donal Bisht who has a very unique name which suits her cute and bubbly personality revealed the exact reason as to why did her parents named her 'Donal'. Donal who is originally from Delhi was often misinterpreted to be a NRI owing to her name which stirred a lot of inquisition.
Sharing the story behind her unique name, Donal says "Initially, my brother is a year elder to me and used to watch Donald Duck's programme on TV along with my mother. So my mother was very fond of that name and when I was born she named me after Donald Duck, erasing the last letter of that name"
She was also questioned by a plethora of people regarding the same. While recalling those days, Donal added "People used to come to me and ask me the meaning of my name which I myself was unaware of. So I remember when I was in the tenth grade, I looked up the meaning of my name on internet. Then I found out that 'Donal' is a scottish word which means 'The Master Of The Universe' and I was very happy when I read that" she concludes.
On the work front, Donal will be soon seen in a musical web series called 'The Socho Project'. Donal will be essaying the character of Pop-sensation 'Sasha Pink' in the same.
