MUMBAI: Since the ED found chats between Rhea and talent manager Jaya, a drug angle emerged in the Sushant Singh Rajput case and exposed the dark side of Bollywood and how talent management companies work.
Rhea was arrested by NCB, and during her interrogation, she had named actresses like Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan.
But the biggest name to join this probe is Deepika Padukone. The actress' name emerged as the NCB got hold of a chat between Deepika, her manager Karishma, and Jaya, where they all were talking about drugs.
Now as per Republic TV, the latest development in the case is that the NCB has summoned a Dharma Production employee Kshitij Prasad in connection with the drug cartel case.
Kshitij is an executive producer and director at Dharma Productions and has been asked to join the probe by 11 AM on Friday. According to sources, Kshitij is in Delhi now. His house was also searched, as per reports by Republic TV.
He has been summoned on the same day as Deepika Padukone.
As we write this, Simone Khambatta and Shruti Modi are being grilled by the NCB. Both names had come out during the interrogation of Rhea.
Well, as the investigation is on, more names will be out, and the NCB will be summoning them.
