MUMBAI: Recently we heard that actress Payal Ghosh had put some serious MeeToo allegations on the filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and had tweeted that he tried to force himself on her. Anurag Kashyap denied these allegations, calling them baseless. Several actresses such as Taapsee Pannu, Kalki Koechlin and others backed Anurag Kashyap, and showed their support to him. Payal Ghosh reportedly filed a complaint against Anurag Kashyap and now she revealed she gave an interview regarding the entire episode on Anurag Kashyap.
However, in her post, Payal Ghosh wrote that while she gave the interview to a ‘renowned portal’, she later found out that they were seeking permission from Anurag Kashyap himself. She then wrote that if she is ever found hanging from the ceiling, people shouldn’t write it off as suicide. She said that they have the narrative of depression and medication ready. She then used a hashtag, stating that she is ‘not going down’.
