MUMBAI: During the investigation of the SSR death probe, the drug nexus in Bollywood was exposed, and many big names came out of this case, which shocked the nation.
On Saturday, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor had recorded their statements regarding the case.
Now, as per Mumbai Mirror, the NCB officials have said that they haven’t found any link between drug peddlers and the actresses. When the Deepika was asked about the drug chats with her manager, she said that she has never consumed drugs and that she was referring to cigarettes.

When Shraddha Kapoor was asked about her CBD oil (cannabidiol) WhatsApp chat, she said it was for external use. Legally, preparations made from extract or tincture of Indian hemp, except those which are only for external use, are covered as per the provisions of the NDPS Act.
The NCB will now be relying on digital evidence.
The three have recorded their statements, but no clean chit has been given to them. The investigation is still on.
