MUMBAI : COLORS’ 'Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav' has captivated audiences with its mesmerizing blend of mythology, drama, and larger-than-life characters. The show, hailed for its gripping narrative and stunning visual artistry, continues to enthrall viewers as it explores the timeless battle between good and evil, sin and virtue, devotion and defiance. With its gripping storytelling, the saga now gears up for a huge twist as Karanvir Bohra steps into the shoes of the menacing Andhakasur—a demon destined to challenge Lord Shiva himself.

Karanvir Bohra, known for his magnetic screen presence and penchant for villainous roles, marks his powerful return to COLORS with this larger-than-life portrayal. As Andhakasur, Bohra embodies the wrath of an Asur whose fiery defiance ignites a war against the God of destruction. Cursed with the devastating power that each drop of his spilled blood gives rise to countless Andhakasurs, he is a force of relentless vengeance. Andhakasur’s singular mission is to confront Lord Shiva, whom he accuses of meting out injustice to the Asurs. His rage results in a vow to rewrite the balance of power, transforming him into a harbinger of chaos and setting the stage for an epic clash of cosmic proportions.

Karanveer Bohra on Playing Andhakasur in Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav says, “It is an exciting new step in my acting journey for two reasons—portraying the son of Lord Shiva and playing a blind antagonist, both of which come with immense responsibility and excitement. Working with COLORS feels like being on home turf, and this collaboration will surely continue to be a rewarding experience. I’m eager for the audience to see how Andhakasur’s journey unfolds on screen. Andhakasur is not just another villain, he is a force to reckon with, driven by rage, conviction, and an unshakable purpose. This role demanded that I tap into intense emotions and bring out the complexities of the character. My fans have always appreciated roles where I push boundaries, and Andhakasur allows me to explore deeper shades of the dark. We’ve created a striking look for the character, and I’m looking forward to bringing him to life.
