Jeet Jaayenge Hum and Crime Patrol
Jeet Jaayenge Hum and Crime Patrol will swap their time slots starting tonight. So Crime Patrol will shift to the 9.30 pm slot while Jeet Jaayenge Hum will move to 8.30 pm. Producer Benaifer Kohli of Jeet Jaayenge Hum confirms the news and says, “It was the channel’s strategy to bring both crime-related shows back to back and that is how they decided to pre pone the telecast of our show. Now all fiction shows, both old and new will air one after the other while non-fiction shows will begin from 10 pm." Ask her if the change in timings will affect the show? “Initially it will affect my show as viewers are used to watching it at 9.30 pm but my work is to bring them to a new slot and I am confident they will watch it at the different time slot as well. As far as competition is concerned I think we had competition earlier too but we put in our efforts to compete with others." Any new twists in the tale? “Yes, we have to keep doing new things, we are going to introduce a character soon, and we have approached a few actors to play a male lead in the show. We will finalise the name in a day or two, as I am out of town at this moment once I will get back we will decide. But I cannot reveal the name of any actor now." Sony’s long running shows CID airs at 10 pm and that is the reason why the channel decided to push ahead Crime Patrol at 9.30 pm. It remains to be seen how the new time slots work for both the shows.”
