Rohit Roy and Gaurav Chopraa awarded Amrish Puri Excellence Award at Delhi

Rohit Roy and Gaurav Chopraa bagged the Amrish Puri Award for Excellence in Entertainment at the recently held 8th Amrish Puri Annual Award function held at Delhi. The award is given to actors who have contributed excellently in television and films. While Rohit bagged the award for his dynamic roles he has played down the years in films and TV, Gaurav lapped up the award for spreading magic in both the mediums. Opined Rohit, “It feels great. I wasn’t expectng this honour. I have grown up watching Amrish Puri and an award instituted on his name is a delight for me to carry, I feel great. I am happy for Gaurav too as he is also an ace actor and he truly deserved the award.” Observed Gaurav, “I feel honored and blessed that I am getting this award for excellence, but honestly my career in this industry has just begun. Excellence is way too far for me. I am still learning and have to learn a lot. Well, I would definitely like to thank the producers and everyone associated with Uttaran.” The event, that is specially designed and devoted towards the awareness of HIV / Aids, has enabled NGO Allay Club to achieve a new milestone in its chequered history.
