Actor Soumitra Chatterjee's condition improves

MUMBAI: Veteran Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee's condition improved on Friday as he was responding well to treatment. Chatterjee was battling Covid-19 and was admitted to Kolkata's Belle Vue Hospital last week.

According to hospital sources, he is undergoing music therapy through Rabindra sangeet and music from his films. The actor has become responsive now, sources said.

His coronavirus test result came negative on Wednesday night, after which the octogenarian actor was shifted out of Covid ICU ward, hospital sources said.
