MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mahaakshay and wife Yogeeta Bali have landed into legal trouble once again. The mother-son duo has been accused and booked for rape, cheating and forcible abortion at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai.
The same victim had earlier tried to register an FIR regarding the same issue back when Mahaakshay was about to get married in 2018.
With the police not registering the case, she had appealed to the Rohini Court instead to file an FIR. Based on the prima facie evidence, the court ordered to register an FIR in the case and investigate the matter.
Now, based on this FIR, a case has been registered at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai on Thursday.
As per the complainant, Mahaakshay and the victim were in a relationship with the actor promising to marry her.
The victim said that in the year 2015, Mahaakshay called her at his home and drugged her with a soft drink, after which he forcibly got physically intimate with the victim without her consent. She further stated that Mahaakshay never fulfilled his promise regarding their marriage.
The victim has also accused his mother Yogeeta Bali of harassment by threatening her to dismiss the case.
In her complaint, she mentioned that they continued to have a physical relationship for 4 years. Later, when the victim was pregnant, Mahaakshaya pressurized her to get an abortion. To her denial, he gave her some pills and got the child eventually aborted.
However, it seems that the rest of the Chakraborty family is still unaware of any such development as Madalsa Sharma, who is Mahaakshay's present wife, was in complete denial of this development by claiming, "Case has been registered for what? It's not true at all.".
On being informed that the FIR is being led by the same girl who had earlier filed a case accusing him of rape and his mother of threat-intimidation, Madalasa said, "These are old stories. It all happened 3 years back and that has been shut and done with." When we asked her about the latest complaint filed on Thursday at Oshiwara police station, Madalsa said, "We are not aware of any such complaint till now.".
Oshiwara Police Station's Senior P.I. Dayanand Bangar is an eminent source behind this information.
