MUMBAI: As Maharashtra ushers its Foundation Day on May 1st, the state prepares to commemorate and celebrate the region's rich history, cultural diversity, and contribution to art and cinema. On this special occasion, the actors of Sony SAB - Jayesh More, Adish Vaidya, Sayli Salunkhe, Sumeet Raghvan, and Aditya Redij step forward to extend heartfelt wishes and reflect on the importance and significance of state in their lives.

Sumeet Raghvan, who plays the role of Rajesh Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya, Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, said, “Maharashtra continues to inspire with its dynamic blend of tradition and modernity. Having been born and brought up in Mumbai, I love eating Maharashtrian cuisine like Puran Poli and Shrikhand Puri a lot. I used to be able to get through the entire day by eating only these for breakfast. As we celebrate Maharashtra Day, I’d like to pay tribute to the state's enduring spirit and the individuals who contribute to its ongoing story.”

Sayli Salunkhe, who plays the role of Devi Anjani in Veer Hanuman, said, “From the majestic forts of Pune to the hustle of Mumbai, Maharashtra represents courage and ambition. This Maharashtra Diwas, I urge everyone to take a moment to appreciate the incredible spirit of the people that makes this state so special."
Aditya Redij, who plays the role of King Krishnadevraya in Tenali Rama, said, “From the vibrant festivals to the resilient spirit of its people, every facet of Maharashtra has shaped who I am today. On this Maharashtra Day, I celebrate the land that has given me so much and continues to inspire me every day."

Jayesh More, who plays Dilip Patel in Pushpa Impossible, said: “On the occasion of our state’s Foundation Day, let us remember and take pride in our glorious history and culture, and its immense growth and development over the years. Maharashtra Dinachya Hardik Shubhechha.”
