MUMBAI: Actor Shaleen Malhotra roars with his acting prowess every time he is seen on screen. Extremely selective about his body of work, he always prefers quality over quantity.

The actor is currently depicting the role of Rishi in Sony TV’s Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. Though, he joined the show from mid but has once again gained immense love from viewers. Fans are in awe of his and Anjali Tatrari’s chemistry in the show.

TellyChakkar had exclusively reported about the show coming to an end and it will air its last episode on 19 November. The cast is soon expected to wrap up the shoot however yesterday happened to be Shaleen’s last day at shoots.

He spoke in brief on being part of the show and the kind love he received from the viewers. He shared, “Mere Dad Ki Dulhan is the first of my career move which joined from the middle so I was skeptical how it would turn out. Since audiences have relatability to characters that they form in the initial bit. Usually, actors do not show acceptance but I am lucky as this character is not only widely accepted but also loveda lot. It was a different role which I had not played earlier. I think I made the right decision on being part of the show. It has taught me a lot and also got me recognition in a different way. Also, the star cast is immaculate and it was great working with all of them."

When asked if he agrees that the show did not deserve to go off air so soon, to which he replied, “It is always better to end the show on a good note but the point is they rushed towards the end of it. It deserved a little longer run. They could have prolonged the romance, hits and misses and RV and Niya’s chemistry.”

Mere Dad Ki Dulhan will be replaced by Story Nine Months Ki from 23 November at 10.30pm.
